TERMS OF SERVICE

Clear terms for a reflective service.

These terms govern access to Kaaladarshi, including Life Maps, questions, readings, linked profiles, Shared Journeys, accounts, and related features.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Kaaladarshi, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Kaaladarshi for an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into these terms and meet the minimum digital-consent age applicable where you live. The service is not directed to children under 13. Additional restrictions may apply in particular jurisdictions.

3. Accounts and authentication

  • Provide accurate account information and maintain control of the account used to sign in.
  • Do not share authentication credentials or attempt to access another person's account.
  • Notify Kaaladarshi promptly if you reasonably suspect unauthorized account access.
  • You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless prohibited by law.

Kaaladarshi may require re-authentication, expire sessions, or restrict access to protect users and the service.

4. The Kaaladarshi service

Kaaladarshi calculates and presents Life Maps and provides reflective interpretations based on information supplied by users and the service's Jyotish framework. Features, presentation, availability, and access limits may change over time.

No interpretation guarantees that an event will occur, establishes causation, or proves predictive accuracy. A Life Map is an exploratory aid rather than an objective measurement of a person's character, future, compatibility, health, or worth.

5. Information and content you provide

You retain your rights in information you submit. You grant Kaaladarshi a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that information solely as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

You represent that you have lawful authority to submit all information, including details about linked people. Do not submit information that infringes another person's privacy, intellectual property, confidentiality, or other rights.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or to harm, harass, exploit, or discriminate against another person.
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, probe vulnerabilities, interfere with operations, overload systems, or introduce malicious code.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, extract, reproduce, or commercially exploit protected portions of the service except where law expressly permits.
  • Use outputs as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, employment, insurance, safety, or similarly consequential decisions.
  • Misrepresent generated interpretations as verified facts, professional advice, or guaranteed outcomes.

7. Intellectual property

Kaaladarshi and its licensors retain rights in the service, brand, visual design, software, documentation, original editorial content, and protected methods. These terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for lawful personal purposes.

Feedback may be used to improve Kaaladarshi without obligation, provided it does not require disclosure of your private Life Map content beyond the permissions you choose to provide.

8. Third-party services

Authentication, analytics, hosting, or other functionality may depend on third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply. Kaaladarshi is not responsible for independent third-party sites or services outside its control.

9. Disclaimers

Use judgment, not certainty

Interpretations may be incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for a particular decision. Verify important information independently.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or guaranteed results.

Kaaladarshi is not a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, relationship, emergency, or safety service. Seek qualified professional help for decisions in those areas.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaaladarshi and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill; or decisions made in reliance on interpretations.

Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100, unless applicable law requires a different result.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. Kaaladarshi may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, nonpayment if paid features are introduced, repeated misuse, or material violation of these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the service operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer law requires otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the issue through the Contact channel.

The final production entity name, jurisdiction, and dispute forum must be confirmed before public launch.

13. Changes to the service or terms

Kaaladarshi may modify features or these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through a reasonable channel. Continued use after an effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
