You decide what to enter and what to save. Birth details and personal events may be highly sensitive, so they are treated as private service data rather than advertising content.

3. How information is used
- Provide, personalize, save, and restore Life Maps, questions, readings, and Shared Journeys.
- Authenticate users, maintain secure sessions, prevent misuse, and protect account integrity.
- Operate, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve reliability, accessibility, and user experience.
- Understand aggregate feature usage without sending private reading content to optional analytics services.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important account, policy, or security information.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
Kaaladarshi does not use personal Life Map content to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing, medical treatment, or other similarly consequential eligibility matters.
5. Analytics, cookies, and similar technologies
Essential technologies may be used to keep you signed in, maintain security, preserve preferences, route requests, and prevent abuse. Optional analytics are loaded only according to the consent settings presented in the product.
When Google Analytics is enabled with consent, Kaaladarshi is designed not to send the text of questions, generated readings, birth details, saved life events, or linked-person details as analytics event content. See the Cookie Policy for more.
6. Data retention
Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide an active account, maintain service continuity, meet legal or security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ by category.
- Account and saved journey information may remain until deletion is requested or the account is closed.
- Short-lived logs and session records may be retained for security, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.
- Backups may retain encrypted or access-restricted copies until they rotate out under normal processes.
- Some records may be retained when required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or establishment of legal claims.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about certain disclosures. You may also withdraw optional analytics consent through the product's consent controls.
Requests may require reasonable identity verification. Kaaladarshi may decline or limit a request where permitted by law, such as when the request would affect another person's rights, compromise security, or conflict with a legal obligation.
To close an account, visit Data Deletion or use the Contact page.
8. Children's privacy
Kaaladarshi is not directed to children under 13, and users must meet the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. Do not create a child profile or provide a child's sensitive information unless you have lawful authority and the use is appropriate.
9. International users
Kaaladarshi may process and store information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, reasonable transfer safeguards and contractual protections are used. Laws in those locations may differ from local laws.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the service, legal requirements, or data practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another reasonable channel. The effective date will identify the current version.
11. Privacy contact
Privacy and rights requests can be submitted through the Contact page. A production support address should be configured before public launch. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, or unnecessary sensitive details.
